Abstract

Penyandang disabilitas sangat rentan mengalami stres ekstrem akibat tekanan multidimensional dan minimnya akses layanan kesehatan mental yang inklusif. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan melatih keterampilan regulasi emosi secara mandiri melalui pendekatan Emotion-Focused Coping. Pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan desain experiential learning berupa psikoedukasi partisipatif yang melibatkan 10 peserta dengan rentang usia 18-30 tahun dari OPDis Pelangi Disabilitas Yogyakarta. Intervensi utama yang diaplikasikan adalah praktik mindful breathing dengan teknik pernapasan 4-7-8. Evaluasi tingkat ketercapaian program diukur menggunakan skala stres numerik rentang 0-10 melalui desain pre-test dan post-test. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya penurunan rata-rata tingkat stres peserta sebesar 0,92 poin dari 8,3 pada pre-test menjadi 7,38 pada post-test. Secara klinis, intervensi ini efektif mengubah kondisi afektif peserta menjadi lebih rileks. Teknik 4-7-8 terbukti aplikatif dan inklusif bagi seluruh ragam disabilitas untuk memperkuat kapasitas psikologis, yang secara langsung mendukung pencapaian SDG 3 dan SDG 10.
