Edukasi Bahaya Asap Rokok bagi Bayi dan Balita di Kubu Dalam Parak Karakah Padang

Asap rokok menjadi salah satu ancaman serius terhadap kesehatan bayi dan balita. Paparan asap rokok dapat meningkatkan risiko gangguan pernapasan, infeksi saluran napas, hingga gangguan perkembangan pada anak-anak. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman tentang bahaya asap rokok serta meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat, khususnya orang tua dan pengasuh, tentang pentingnya menciptakan lingkungan bebas asap rokok. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan dengan pemberian edukasi bahaya asap rokok bagi bayi dan balita dengan metode ceramah, diskusi serta Tanya jawab. Sasaran kegiatan adalah seluruh ibu yang memiliki bayi dan balita di Kubu Dalam Parak Karakah yang berjumlah 30 orang. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 30 Desember 2024.Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta tentang bahaya asap rokok serta komitmen mereka untuk menciptakan lingkungan rumah yang lebih sehat. Dengan kegiatan ini, diharapkan masyarakat semakin sadar akan pentingnya perlindungan bayi dan balita dari paparan asap rokok guna mendukung tumbuh kembang yang optimal.
