Penatalaksanaan Fisioterapi Untuk Meningkatkan Keseimbangan dan Kemampuan Fungsional Pada Pasien Post Stroke Infark Hemiparase : Case Report

Stroke menjadi penyebab utama disabilitas global, terutama akibat hemiparesis dan gangguan keseimbangan yang membatasi aktivitas fungsional, sehingga penting untuk dilakukan pengabdian masyarakat melalui fisioterapi sebagai bagian dari proses rehabilitasi pasien pasca stroke. Pemelitian ini menggunakan metode case report pada pasien laki-laki berusia 73 tahun dengan intervensi berupa TENS, IR, strengthening exercise, balance exercise, serta home program. Evaluasi menggunakan alat MMT, BBS, TUG, dan Barthel Index. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kekuatan otot pada beberapa regio, skor BBS dari 31 menjadi 42, TUG dari 40,24 detik menjadi 30,17 detik, serta Barthel Index dari 15 menjadi 18. Kemudian, dengan intervensi fisioterapi terstruktur yang disertai edukasi dan dukungan keluarga terbukti membantu proses pemulihan pasien pasca stroke. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya fisioterapi dan dukungan keluarga dalam proses pemulihan post stroke.
